Re: signs of stress in Betta fish

How often do you feed? Overfeeding can mess with water quality and stress them.

Re: what plants work with angelfish?

Vallisneria is another good option. It grows fast and can handle a bit of nibbling.

Re: A possible eye fluke issue

To be honest, unless the issue starts spreading, I'd probably just treat with something like melafix or primafix, see if that helps the fish heal a bit quicker. Maybe it just bumped into a rock a bit too hard and cut itself, who knows.

Yes, Melafix and Primafix are very common just about anywhere and cheap too

Went to my local and they had almost zilch in terms of meds, only thing that sounded vaguely useful was ICH-attack - I know it's not ICH, but it treats Fungus, Protozoans and Dinoflagellates, so fingers ...

Re: Goniopora and flower pot coral enthusiasts, share your experiences

Here's a pic with the new gonis:

The far left is a real bright neon green, then the white with yellow eyes, an australian orange one, purple, green with pink, hot pink, red, light pink.

I'll try to get a vid of them when they're all extended and swaying in the current - would be way more ...

Re: Goniopora and flower pot coral enthusiasts, share your experiences

Had posted on another thread, will post my pieces here too. I had some pieces here and there in the past, but have gotten hooked on this coral due to more availability of colors in the hobby recently. I really like this lps. I've been feeding mine and they kind of went from retracting initially to ...
