Aw man, sorry to hear. Discus are my fave. Maybe it was just its time. You got any pics? Would love to see how it looked.

It's always tough losing a fish. Could be stress related. How many other Discus are in the tank?

Sorry about your fish. Sometimes these things just happen, even with perfect care. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Weekly changes are good. At this point, I'd monitor the others closely for any signs of illness. Maybe bump the changes to 50% for a bit.

If you're not seeing any symptoms in the others, it might've been an isolated thing. Still, keep an eye on them. What's your substrate like? Sometimes waste buildup can cause issues.
