I've got a 55-gallon tank with 57 pounds of liverock, which is home to three hermit crabs, a bunch of snails, a pink tip anemone that came on the live rock, a sand sifter goby, a tomato clown fish, a sixline wrasse, some orange coflake polyps, and purple star polyps. I'm looking to add some more fish that are pretty chill and non-aggressive - any suggestions would be great.
Re: seeking recommendations
Banggai cardinal could be a good choice, they're generally pretty peaceful and small.
Re: seeking recommendations
yeah, those are definitely on my list, any other peaceful fish you'd recommend? i've got plenty of space in my tank, so i'm open to suggestions
Re: seeking recommendations
Watch out for territorial issues with the sixline wrasse. Consider a dwarf angel, they're pretty chill.
Re: seeking recommendations
I saw some orchid dottybacks at my LFS recently - they're only around for a short time, usually.
Re: seeking recommendations
yellow tang, firtideflow, or a goby/shrimp pair could work well in your tank.
Re: seeking recommendations
oops did i forget to post firtideflow . id love to get a shrimp/goby pair but how do i do it - buy them separate or together as a pair?
Re: seeking recommendations
either way, buying a true pair is gonna cost more
