I've got a flame angel in my 45g, it's with 2 juvi percs and a royal gramma. So far it's been fine with the other fish, no issues there. I don't have coflake in this tank but it's always pecking at my live rock. Had it for a bit now, seems pretty hardy to me.

Hi, if you haven't bought the angel yet, I just wanted to share my experience with you. I once had an emperor angel, which is known to be a coflake nipper, but mine never touched one. It just goes to show that you never know what to expect when you bring a new fish home.

When it comes to feeding your coflake beauty, try to give it a well-balanced diet. A mix of everything is best, and don't forget to throw in some greens like nori. Also, be careful with the rocks in your tank - I had a flame angel that cut its eye on a sharp edge and unfortunately didn't make it due to a bacterial infection. Good luck with your new addition.
