Re: Euphyllia placement in tank
Appreciate the tips, everyone. Gonna start mid-tank and keep an eye on it. Nitrates are at 5 ppm, so should be good there.

Euphyllia placement in tank
Just picked up a new Euphyllia frag and wanna make sure I don't mess up the placement. Got a 40-gallon mixed reef with moderate flow, AI Prime lighting. Where do y'all usually stick yours?

Neptunes in a marine tank would be handy for feeding to your frog or lion fish.

Keeping a blenny with algae

Re: Is this trumpet coral healthy?
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I haven't seen any feeder tentacles yet, but I have noticed it reacts to food. When I feed the other fish and inverts, it opens its mouths and can grab the pellets I've been spot feeding to it.

Is this trumpet coral healthy?
I just introduced it to the tank, roughly 24 hours ago. The polyp extension is nonexistent so far, but the mouth is visible on all three heads most of the time. The red part on top of each head feels really rigid, almost skeletal - I'm not sure if that's normal. My torch and zoas seem fine, but this ...
