Re: Identifying torch coral species
That's quite a price tag if you ask me, hefty indeed. If it weren't, I would've definitely grabbed it without hesitation.

Re: Gonipora spawning observations
those aren't eggs, they're actually mini colonies that'll eventually break off and form new ones when the current takes them away in the wild. I've had this happen on mine before - I had two of them grow, popped them off after a bit, and attached them to a frag plug. ended up being some of the ...

Re: How quickly can acans become photoinhibited
I'd just tell the maintenance guy myself if I saw him - please don't touch that one coral, I'm pretty sure they'll get the message. I do maintenance too and I move corals off the floor because clients don't like seeing them down there, but I get why you had it there. Acan's can handle high light, no ...

Re: A discussion about angels and clowns
I had Black and White Clowns with a Bi-Colour angel for a while, they got along just fine. But the angel was a real nuisance, constantly pestering my Anthias and Goby, they'd hardly ever come out of their caves. I ended up swapping it for a Coflake Beauty, which has been a great choice, it's really ...
