Re: Culturing white worms
Thanks for the advice, everyone. Gonna start with a shoebox and coco coir, see how it goes. Appreciate the temp tips especially.

Culturing white worms
I'm thinking about culturing white worms for my discus tank. Anyone got tips on the best setup? I've got a 75 gallon with sand substrate, temp at 82F, and a canister filter. Wanna make sure I don't mess it up.

Nope, Crypts are too slow for my taste. If you want fast and easy, go with Duckweed. Just be ready to scoop it out forever once it's in there.

Re: Identifying growth on my lobo coral
Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely move it further away from the frogspawn. You're probably right about the ID, I was told it was an Aussie Rainbow Lobo when I bought it, but I'm still learning and it's possible it's actually a Trachyphyllia - I'll have to do some more research.

Identifying growth on my lobo coral
I've got a RSM130 with three Ecoxotic Pro Modules - two 12k white and one 445nm blue, plus another 445nm blue. My Aussie Lobo's been thriving in the sand bed, munching on Mysis shrimp for 7 months now, no issues whatsoever. Last night, with just the blues on, I took a peek and noticed what looked ...

I've found the Arcadia ArcPods to be spot on for the job, really happy with 'em.
