My discus have been in the same tank for months, but they just won't pair up. Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, nitrate around 10 ppm. Tank is 75 gallons, temp at 84°F, with a canister filter and sand substrate. They're about 5 inches each, fed twice daily with a mix of flakes, pellets ...

I'd advise being cautious when ordering from anyone on Facebook, do your research first. New scammers pop up every day and Facebook rarely takes action. Since Daku Aquatics has a website, that's a positive sign, but still be careful.

I've taken the gamble with discus before, and unfortunately, I've come up short. You seem to be doing your research, which is great, but I'd always advise seeing the fish in person before making a purchase. Keep in mind, cheap fish can end up costing you more in the long run if ...

I run my non-picky eaters at 82F, but for the finicky ones, it's 86-93F, depending on how stubborn they're being.

I'm committed to maintaining the highest standards for my discus, just as I do with my Africans. I'll continue with the rigorous routine to ensure these fish thrive and reach their full potential.

Honestly, I think you're overthinking it. Most discus have minor imperfections, and yours are no exception. That being said, they look great overall. The one on the right does have a slightly pointy nose, but it's not a major concern at this stage.
