I've got a tank, rio240, with a tetra ex1200 filter, been running for about 8 months as a community tank.
I've sold most of the community fish, thinking of filling it with malawi cichlids now.
The thing is, I still have a pair of kribs and a pair of german rams in there.
Do you reckon I'll have any compatability issues mixing cichlids with the current stock?
The tank's got sand substrate and about 25kilos of ocean rock in it.

Honestly, the kribs might just be alright, they're pretty tough, but those rams are gonna get bullied. To be honest, I'd just start from scratch, it's the safest bet.

Thanks for the advice flinta, I think I'll take your word for it and start fresh, don't want the rams getting bullied by the new additions
