well this is the second time my african acei yellow tailed from malawi are having eggs. the first time the female had a mouth full of eggs but she ate them. i think the male hurt her this time, she's got fewer eggs than before and i'm worried. i'm planning to separate them next time with a glass divider. can i get some tips on how to care for them when they have eggs? i've got them in a 25 gallon breeding tank right now. also, i've got a 55 gallon tank with a green terror and 3 plecos, and i'm planning to get a female green terror after school to breed them. when i have eggs, i'll be selling them since i don't have room for them.
i just remembered something - when i got back from school, i saw the pair breeding, but then the male started chasing the female and now she's hurt. i added aquarium salt to reduce her stress and help her heal. i'm thinking of replacing the male or female since i don't want to lose any fish. if i put the male with the green terror, the gt will kill him because it's too big. i'm checking on the tanks every hour to make sure everything's okay. today, i'm going to measure the tank to make the glass divider, and tomorrow i'll make it when i change the water.
if you want any photos, just let me know

Yeah, creating a divider is a good idea. Usually, it's recommended to have multiple females for one male, that way the aggression is distributed. Do you have enough hiding spots, like rockwork, in your tank to reduce the stress on the female?

well after the examination i will go and get more rocks now the female ate her eggs and the aggression has stopped a bit i think in around 5 days there will be no aggression and by the time they will breed i will have the divider ready to separate them after when the eggs hatch i will sell the fry at around 1-2 cm because i have no room for them for now the female is feeding right again i am thinking to buy 1-2 more females but i don't know if i am overstocking i have 25 gallons with only 2 african cichlids they are around 12 cm and the females are a bit less 9-10 so i don't want to overstock and in a bit i will have fry from green terror i will buy a female
