best plant Care routines
I've been struggling with my Anubias lately. The leaves are turning yellow, and growth has stalled. I'm using a 20-gallon tank with LED lighting, CO2 injection, and weekly water changes. Any tips on how to revive them?

Yellow leaves on Anubias often point to a nutrient deficiency. Are you dosing any fertilizers? I've had success with Seachem Flourish, and my plants perked up after a few weeks. Also, check your lighting duration, too much can cause algae to outcompete the Anubias.

My Anubias did the same thing until I moved them to a shaded spot. They don't need much light, and my tank's LED was too intense. Maybe try adjusting their position?

Yo, Anubias are chill but fussy. I had the same prob, turned out my water was too hard. Switched to RO water, and bam, green leaves again. Also, don't bury the rhizome, that's a rookie mistake.

I agree with this. Anubias are low-light plants. If your LED is too strong, try reducing the photoperiod to 6 hours a day.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try reducing the light and dosing Flourish. I'll update in a few weeks.

Dude, Anubias are like the divas of the plant world. Mine threw a fit until I got the flow right. Too much current, and they sulk. Maybe check your filter output?

I've had luck with Anubias in low-tech tanks. No CO2, just liquid ferts and ambient light. They grow slow but steady. Maybe skip the CO2 for a bit?

Anubias are tough, but they hate change. If you've messed with the tank lately, that could be it. Just give 'em time to adjust.

I've found Anubias do best when attached to driftwood or rocks. Burying the roots in substrate can lead to rot. Maybe try repositioning them?
