can anyone identify this cichlid?
Re: can anyone identify this cichlid?
I think the yellow ones are pretty obvious, they're yellow labs, but the darker ones are a bit of a mystery, possibly some type of peacock, not entirely sure though.

Prob young peacocks, could be females too, they're just getting their colouring going

Reminds me of pseudotropheus socolofi, that's my take on the dark ones.
Re: can anyone identify this cichlid?
The yellow ones are indeed Labidochromis Caeruleus. As for the dark ones, I'm inclined to believe they're some form of Pseudotropheus - possibly young Pseudotropheus Crabro, or maybe even Pseudotropheus Aurora. A clearer picture would be helpful, but one thing's for sure, they're not Aulonocaras.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, but the darker ones kinda remind me of either Labeotropheus fullerborni or maybe trewavase - don't quote me on the spelling though.

Keep us posted on how they're doing, and yeah, pics are always great, this forum loves 'em.
