identifying a young chicken

Post by opaline »

Just got back from the pet store, needed a new heater since mine's been acting up. Picked up a new betta while I was there - the guy said it's a white opal, is that right? I'm having a hard time telling if it's a young male or if opals just stay small, I've only had veil tails before.

He's currently floating in the 2.5gal, attached some bag pics. We're gonna stick with the name Yang either way.

Looks like an Opal to me, maybe delta tail, bit tricky to see in the bag though. He's a pretty little guy, isn't he?

Here's Yang out of the bag now, I think you're right about the delta tail, thanks for the confirmation. He's really pretty, isn't he?

Looks like an Opal Delta Tail to me too. Gorgeous coloration, you scored a great one.
