information needed by five as i'm leaving at 5

im getting a yellow tang from a tank breakdown, was thinking of quarantining it in my 13 gallon nano, just live rock in there, no other fish. how long should i keep it in qt for?

What's the size of the tang you're picking up? If it's really small, a 13 gallon might work out. Two weeks quarantine should be the bare minimum, though.

it's about 2-3 inches, so pretty small still

I'd still be a bit cautious, given the tang's size.

Nope, didn't happen that way KJ, the specific gravity was off in that tank so it went straight into the 100g.

yeah, sorry bout that, thought i'd already replied - my specific gravity was 1.17, too low for my liking
