Just curious, what are everyone's top 3 fish? Doesn't matter if you have them in your tank or not, or if they're in order of preference. Could be by looks, temperament, anything. Just want to explore some more types and maybe give people some ideas for their tank.
I'll kick things off.
Ocellaris clownfish - low maintenance, hilarious to watch as a pair.
Coflake beauty - stunning colours, super active, mine's always on the go eating everything off the live rock.
Longnose butterflyfish - don't have one, but they look amazing, love the 'hairdo' they seem to have going on.

1. Mandarin Dragonet - absolutely breathtaking, the sheer elegance of this fish is captivating.
2. Flasher Wrasse - the vibrant colours and quirky personality make for a compelling watch.
3. Lionfish - their fluid movement and delicate features create a mesmerising sight, and those faces are just endearing.
Clownfish would definitely be next on my list - I can see why you'd be fond of them, Kolada.

let's get into it
achilles tang - love the way they move
blue faced angel - beautiful, elegant swimmers
gold flake angel - had one for 4 years, definitely one of the tougher marine angels to keep in a home tank

Re: selecting your top marine fish
I'm not really one for ranking, so I'll give you a longer list instead.
I love clownfish - each one has its own unique personality that you can easily get attached to.
Manderin Dragonettes are stunning, with their beautiful colours.
The Royal Gramma is another favourite of mine, with colours that are just as striking.
Copperband Butterflyfish are also up there - they're quite outgoing once they settle in, but can be tricky to feed.
The Yellow Prawn Goby has amazing colours and is always a challenge to find when there's no food around.
Algea Blennies have so much personality and are really entertaining to watch.
And lastly, the Purple Firtideflow is another favourite, with its stunning colours.
All the best

Re: selecting your top marine fish
Loads of great fish out there.
My top three would be:
1) Lyretail Anthias - Beautiful colour, lovely temperament. I've had a single female for a while, and now I'm upgrading my tank, I'm planning to introduce a couple more to keep her company.
2) Mandarin Dragonet - They're a challenge to keep, but the reward is worth it; they're stunning fish with loads of personality.
3) Mystery Wrasse - Such a pretty fish, I'd love to have one, but the price tag is a bit steep for me, over £150 for a single fish is hard to justify.
I'm a big fan of wrasses and anthias in general, they just have this amazing look to them.
