A discussion about new fish

Post by Nutmegs »

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Flounder and I was curious to know if anyone else here has experience keeping one?

I've never come across one in trade, to be honest. My closest match was a brackish sole fish - lol, that's about it.

Flounders are indeed known for their predatory nature, and that color change ability serves multiple purposes - it's not just for hiding from predators. They can grow fairly large too. I think they're really interesting, and the potential risks are worth it, in my opinion. Has your Flounder started taking food yet?

She's taking food just fine, I can see her eating. Nice and plump too, and she's already coming up to the glass at feeding time, which is great to see.
