I'm considering using Tropica root tabs for my 280L tank, which has a sand substrate to cater to substrate dwellers and fish that forage through the sand for food. I'd like to confirm whether using these root tabs alongside the resin balls could potentially cause issues if they reach the surface.
According to Tropica's website, "The capsules do not fully decompose and the small balls inside the capsules will remain in the substrate after all nutrients have been released. The balls are made of resin, which is biologically harmless."
