These mbuna are super sharp looking, but let me tell you, they can get pretty aggressive. I keep mine with some bigger mbuna that help keep them in line. They're honestly stunning to see in person.

The colors are just incredible, really stands out.

I agree with you, shinobi_ku, those fish are a real head-turner. The way they catch the light is just amazing. I love how vibrant they are, really makes them stand out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, shinobi_ku.

I've got a few of these mbuna and they're total softies, beautiful fish though. Never bother any other fish in my tank, really laid back.
Re: ndumbi's red cap
You're one of the lucky ones, I've had the complete opposite experience with them. I've bred and kept a large number of these fish, and every single one has been extremely aggressive. My clients have also reported similar experiences, so maybe I just had the wrong lines. If they were as friendly as yours, I think they'd be a lot more popular among aquarists.

Worst fish in my tank is a Greshakei, utter nightmare to deal with, always causing trouble.
Re: ndumbi's red cap
My Greshakei's the real troublemaker, nasty piece of work. Yeah they can get nasty.
