What's the best extension for coral growth
What's the best extension for coral growth
Picked up these plate corals in a rough state, they were struggling and starting to bleach - wasn't even sure they'd make it. Fast forward 3 months and I'm really happy with the progress, the new feeding plan seems to be working a treat and they're extending nicely.

Stunning progress, finnley_9. I'm seriously green with envy right now - those plate corals have come a long way in just 3 months.

A little love and care can go a long way for corals. Sometimes all they need is a boost in nutrition to really thrive.

I'm seriously impressed. Always thought bleach was a death sentence for plate corals. You've managed to turn them around, what was the trick?
Re: What's the best extension for coral growth
I started using Seachem Reef Trace and Plus after hearing it's like a steroid boost for tanks. And I gotta say, my corals are thriving now. lol. The best part is my phos and nitrates are at an all-time low, which is a huge change from the phosphate-heavy coral foods I used to use. I saw a massive difference in just 6 weeks - the extension and colour are incredible. I got a friend to try it too, and his duncan went from 6 heads to 15 in just 4 months. It's unbelievable. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.
