I'm in the process of converting my Tanganyika community to a Tropheus setup, and I'm hitting a roadblock with tank mate info. Specifically, I want to keep Synodontis Lucipinnis with them, but I'm getting conflicting advice. Some say they'll be fine, while others claim they'll annoy the Trophs and have different dietary needs. My experience with a veggie-based flake food has been fine for my Synos, but it's a frozen "Tanganyika mix" - I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
The tank will be a 6x2x2, filtered by an Eheim 2080 and 2262, with LED lighting to promote algae growth for the Tropheus. Has anyone had success keeping these fish together? I'd love to hear from someone with firsthand experience.

I'm not sure if I'm stepping out of line here, but I'd like to mention that I've found a great resource for Tropheus info - it's a site called Trophs.com, and it's entirely dedicated to these amazing fish.
