Hey all,
Looking for some coloured plants, either red or otherwise. Need ones that grow straight up and down, not too wide. Thinner leaves a must.
Something similar to Vallisneria Asiatica, but with some colour to 'em.
Any suggestions?
What's the difference between red and coloured?

Red plants typically fall under the higher demand category, requiring a setup with ample CO2, strong lighting, and regular fertilization to achieve that vibrant red hue. If your tank doesn't quite meet these demands, you might experience slower growth or, in some cases, the red leaves reverting back to green - it really depends on the specific plant.
It's worth considering the tech level of your tank setup before committing to these plants, as a mismatch could lead to disappointment and wasted resources. A bit of research and homework can go a long way in avoiding these pitfalls, especially when you're unsure about any aspect of this hobby.
