growing and caring for anubias plants
growing and caring for anubias plants
I stopped by my LFS today and scored an awesome deal - 50% off all aquatic plants. I picked up an Anubias for my driftwood, and it was a steal at just $3.00. I have to admit, I was really tempted to grab a BN pleco too - they're just so adorable.

Sick score on that Anubias, 3 bucks is a steal
Re: growing and caring for anubias plants
Also grabbed an Anubias today, Petco had 'em for $4.99 in a small pot.

Anubias is awesome, I'm a fan. Got one in my tank for a while now, it's doing great. Currently aquascaping, not a lot of hardscape yet but plans are in the works.
Re: growing and caring for anubias plants
Anubias is the best I've had one in my tank for ages now. I'm actually in the middle of doing some aquascaping, so there's not a ton of greenery yet, but just you wait.

I'm with you on that - auto correct can be a real pain. Can't trust the computer to get it right every time, haha.

@A Fish Named Sue I'm pretty sure I see a Java Fern Wendelov next to that decor - isn't that supposed to be attached like Anubias?
Re: growing and caring for anubias plants
@essjay Thanks for keeping me in check. I just got that java fern and I'm still prepping the driftwood it'll be attached to. That spot was just temporary, I appreciate you looking out though

A lot of folks overlook it, that's Fluxx I always double-check.

Anubias are the best, I've been hooked on them lately. They're pretty much taking over my 55, with all the different varieties I've got. And yeah, I've even got them in my betta tanks too - they're just so hardy and low maintenance, love 'em.
