Tilapia Mozambiscus, possibly misspelled.

Not sure if this helps, but I found some info on Tilapia Mozambiscus. Origin is Mozambique and surrounding areas. They seem to thrive in temperatures between 70 to 90 Fahrenheit. Males can get pretty big, over a foot in length, while females are smaller. They can live for 10+ years. Substrate-wise, they're not picky, but they do love to dig. Not a shy fish, so security isn't really an issue. As for food, they'll eat just about everything. Breeding-wise, they're pit breeders, with females brooding eggs in their mouth. Two main threats I found were restaurant patrons and running out of them.
