is dragon blood suitable for show quality?
I'm looking for some info on this fish - is it a good breeder?

That's a nice fish, has its value like any other. If the price is right for you, I'd say go for it.

From what I've seen, these fish typically go for $29.99 to $100, the higher end being purebred. If yours is indeed purebred, you might be able to get a decent price, likely in the $50-$70 range.
