Keeping a dwarf angel with corals
I've been thinking of adding a dwarf angel to my reef tank and I'm curious - what's the most peaceful species you've had experience with?

In my experience, dwarf angels generally get along with most fish in a reef tank. However, I've found they can be a bit territorial with their own kind, especially in smaller tanks under 150 gallons. They also seem to have a thing for small gobies, often nipping at them.

I think the coflake beauty is pretty chill with coflakes. But honestly, every fish has its own personality, so you never really know for sure.

Dwarf angels and coflakes, a mixed bag at best. Some individuals will leave them be, while others will pick at them. I've found that there isn't a specific species that's less likely to nip - they all seem to be a gamble. That being said, Citrus Peel angelfish do have a bit of a reputation for being coflake nippers. They tend to target specific types, like Open Brains, favites brains, millepora, stylophora, and pocillipora. Leathers are occasionally on the menu too, but that's less common.
My two cents? I'd advise against mixing them with coflakes.
