Hey everyone,

Let's have some fun and share our favorite discus pictures along with their strain if we know it. I'd love to see what you all have.

Here's one of mine that really colored up as it grew, unfortunately I don't know the strain.

I also have a high fin blue diamond that's grown incredibly and is basically the boss of my tank, the photo isn't the best but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Love the clarity of your tank water. What's your filtration setup like?

I've got a couple of favorites too. My High Fin Blue Diamond may not be as massive as yours, but it's definitely the tank boss. Then there's my Leopard Discus - a real stunner.

I'm loving this thread, really gets me excited. Narrowing it down is tough, I've got a soft spot for many strains. If I'm being completely honest, the Red Eagle would be the one that steals my heart.

Not gonna choose just one, what would the rest think? Got my red tiger pair from Kenny, and a new pair - leopard and an albino pigeon.

I'm leaning towards one - leopard snakeskin, really stands out to me among the rest.

Your setup looks amazing, and I appreciate the compliment. For my filtration, I use a small wet/dry sump with a combination of filter floss, Seachem Matrix, and Purigen. I've found that the Purigen really helps to achieve crystal-clear water.

Beautiful Discus. That's quite a setup you have there - I'm surprised that's only 75 gallons, your fish look massive. Love the sponge filter too, it's huge.

Wow…….fun and interesting idea, but oh SO hard to pick as I like quite a few. If I had to just look at one strain, it would surely end up being the Red Eagle.

Those Red Eagles are stunning. I've got an orange pigeon blood that shares some similarities. Are the Red Eagles closely related to the pigeon strain, or is that just a coincidence?

Your red tiger pair is stunning, but I have to say, the leopard is my personal favorite - lovely markings.
