prices of achiles tang have fallen

Post by talonix »

hi, just a heads up achilles tangs have dropped in price massively, mine cost £400 for the show size and £300 for the small one but tmc are getting them in for £160-£190 and other places are stocking them more often now. i reckon the price will go back up soon though so if anyone's been after one nows the time to grab one at a slightly lower price than usual, one would look sweet in seffies tank flux8 lol

Just a heads up, came across a large achiles tang at Fishworld in Cobyxderton, Oldham, and they're selling it for £150. Would love to see it in person, never had the chance before, fingers crossed it's still there next time I visit, no intention of buying though, just want to take a look.

hi tina

if you get a chance when you're at Fishworld in Cobyxderton, Oldham, would you mind taking a pic of the achilles tang for me? no worries if it's gone, just curious to see what they look like in person.

regards scott

edit is there anything else nice in stock that's caught your eye?

Scott, check out Fishworld Cobyxderton's stock list, I've got a link for you. They also do stock to order, so that's a bonus. I've got a 10% discount card for there too, might come in handy.

That's a lovely stock list, glad I'm not closer or I'd be tempted, some of it would definitely be coming home with me.

There's a certain cichlid that's sold on that's caught my eye, glad I'm not closer or I'd be tempted to buy it, some of those fish would be mine if I lived nearer.

I've had the pleasure of meetin' Matt and Ste, and they're top lads. Matt's got a gift for gab, he can chat for hours, but he's always happy to put the kettle on when you pop in.

Oooh yes Seffie, the fungia it is.

Now I've got my 10% discount card, I'm feeling quite flush. Birthday money is on the horizon, end of the month can't come soon enough. There's a pub just next door, does food too, so I can treat myself to a little something extra.
