Concern for female krib after male's passing

Post by ladybass »

Hey everyone,
I'm really struggling here and could do with some help. I've had a pair of 2 stripe kribs in my community tank for a while now - a male and a female, and they always seemed to get on so well. They'd swim around together, never any issues with the other fish.
But last night I found him dead and I'm absolutely devastated.
Now Rosie's just not herself - she's not moving about much and just stays in front of the cave we made for them.
She's also 'breathing' really heavily, I guess you'd say.
I'm really worried about her and would appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks.
