Finding replacement parts for the marineland magniflow filter

Post by tigerlog »

My Magniflow C-360 is in need of a replacement top gasket, but unfortunately, I've hit a roadblock. The Marineland website doesn't have any in stock, and I've come up empty-handed on Amazon, eBay, and That Fish Place. Anyone have a lead on where I can find one?

Is that a standard o-ring or something specific to the Magniflow C-360?

It seems unlikely. Marineland's site calls it a "gasket kit" – that includes four small o-rings and the top gasket. The top gasket itself looks too thick to be an o-ring. I'm hesitant to remove mine without a replacement handy, since damaging it during removal would render the filter useless.

I used to be really into Marineland filters back in the day, around 20 years ago, and I was always able to find the parts I needed for mine. When I restarted my tanks last year, I had no issues. I'm terrible with model numbers, though - never been able to keep them straight. Can you post a picture of your C-360 so I can get a better idea of what you're working with?

I was really into Magniflow filters a while back, had no problem finding parts for my old ones when I set up my tanks again last year. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with model numbers, so I'm having trouble picturing the C-360. Would you mind posting a picture of it?
