Discus tank mates

Hi everyone, new to the forum but been keeping tropical fish for a while now.
I've got a 200 gallon tank with 8 large discus, looking for some suitable tank mates for them.
Was thinking of getting German blue rams, but got warned they wouldn't last long with my discus.

Anyone had any luck keeping discus with frontosas? I've got a small group of frontosas in a separate tank with the same water conditions and temperature.

Frontosas seem pretty laid-back and shy, so I thought they might work well with my discus.
