Frogspawn corals are actually a pretty common host for clowns outside of anemones, in my experience. I've had a maroon clown host in a leather coral similar to the one in the background of the video. Clowns do seem to get stung a bit by the euphyllias, but they still manage to form a symbiotic relationship. I've been trying to get various species of clowns to host in plastic anemones, but unfortunately, that's not working out too well for me.

On a more positive note, I do have a breeding pair of cinnamon clowns that spawn on a maxijet - it's pretty hilarious to watch.

I've had a similar experience with my frogspawn, they barely ever rubbed against my brain coral, and the xenia seems to be their secondary host - they do go in and out of it occasionally.

My clowns had a go at hosting in a euphyllia brain, but it didn't quite work out - they got a bit too aggressive and I started losing heads, it'd literally strip it down to the skeleton.

I've since moved on to a pair of percs, they've taken to hosting in some red grape caulerpa and GSP - seems to be working out alright for them.
