A discussion about angel

Post by Rykorv »

I'm thinking of getting a bi colour angel, they look stunning, but I'm not sure if my tank is large enough - it's 128l. I've also heard they can be a bit nippy with corals, has anyone had any experience with this?

Your tank's a decent size, but personally, I wouldn't risk it if you're attached to your corals.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I'm currently polyp-free, just got a bunch of mushies, gonipora and a new zenia - still getting used to the name, to be honest.

With your current stock, I'd say the xenia and goniopora would be the ones at risk, so it's probably not the best idea to introduce a bi-colour angel.

I had one, didn't work out, moved him on sharpish... little coflake nipping menace.

Gorgeous fish though, one of my absolute faves - the Bi-colour angel. Shame really, 'cause when it comes to coflakes, they're more like little devils.
