keeping my pelvicachromis subocellatus from matadi

Just a quick update on my Matadi's.

They were part of a group of 4 initially...

Then, this pair started getting aggressive with the other two, so I separated them and rehomed the others. Since then, they've been changing colour and shape like crazy. Here's what they looked like a couple of weeks ago...

...and they've still changed some more since then!

Had three batches of eggs from them, but they've suddenly stopped breeding again. I guess they're just taking it easy or something. Will add some newer pics when I can get some XD

Female Matadi's are my absolute faves, so unique and full of character. The males just can't compete, they seem rather dull in comparison. Great to see your pair thriving, nice work with the care and attention.

My male Matadi's got some nice coloration, red, blue and yellow. Waiting for them to start breeding again, hopefully soon.
