Observations of blue damsels' behaviour

Post by olivena »

not entirely sure whats going on here!
ive been keeping an eye on my damsels and im stoked. got so used to them fanning away in one spot, but then yesterday they started shifting LR rubble thats nearly as big as they are. not causing me any issues, but im genuinely intrigued - whats the reasoning behind this? anyone care to shed some light?

Maybe they're starting to nest or something

hey buddy, got two damsels myself and they're pretty cool now. started with four, but the two strongest ones picked on the weaker pair, ended up with just two. now they're always going at each other, one after the other. heard they get more aggressive with age, but they're alright with my other fish - got two clowns, a yellow tang, and a green damsel.
