A question about my krib.

Post by starboy »

My female krib has made herself right at home in the cave, piling up substrate all around the entrance. Can just about see her nose.

I'm a bit stumped as to why she's doing this - is she trying to block the entrance or just getting cozy? Don't think she can actually get out now, which is a bit concerning.

She's more than likely got eggs in there, that's why she's all blocked up.

She's likely got eggs in there. I'm pretty sure she'll be able to dig her way out, she managed to move the rocks to get in after all. She can just move them back to get out.

You have a male as well, or is it just the female?

Yes, I've got a male as well, seems to be patrolling the area, keeping an eye on things.

They probably do have eggs then. My females go through the motions all the time but it's rare for them to actually spawn.
