Hey guys, been thinking of selling off all my malawis, got around 40-50 of 'em, all under 2 years old and loads of babies from various breeds mixed in.
My stock includes:
Gephyrochromis acei, got some of those
Labidochromis caeruleus (Electric yellow labido, love these)
Labidochromis Liongi, Labidochromis mpanga
Maylandia greshakei, Maylandia zebra "Makonde
Pseudotropheus acei "ngara, Pseudotropheus elongatus
Pseudotropheus demasoni, Pseudotropheus saulosi
Pseudotropheus msobo, Pseudotropheus socolofi
I'm pretty sure I've missed some, will try and get some pics up but having some trouble with it.
So, what would you guys say this lot's worth if I sold 'em as a job lot?

Having trouble adding pics here, does anyone know the easiest way to do it, cheers.

You'll need to upload your pics to a hosting site like Photobucket first. Once you've got a link to the image, you can share it here using the <img> tag. The image icon in the editing window can help with that, it'll add the tags for you.creeko wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 11:37 am Hey guys, been thinking of selling off all my malawis, got around 40-50 of 'em, all under 2 years old and loads of babies from various breeds mixed in.

That's quite an impressive collection you have there, creeko. I'm genuinely curious, how did you manage to keep so many similar-colored fish thriving together? And what about the babies, are they hybrids or purebred?
Re: Considering selling my aquarium fish
Thanks for the tip, I'll get on that. To be honest, it's my first time keeping malawis - I got them all as babies, so they've grown up together and seem to get along just fine, even with the cockatoo cats. As far as I can see, there aren't any mixed babies. Pics should be up soon, would appreciate a look.creeko wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 11:37 am Hey guys, been thinking of selling off all my malawis, got around 40-50 of 'em, all under 2 years old and loads of babies from various breeds mixed in.

I'm having a bit of trouble adding pics to my post, does anyone know how I can do it?
Re: Considering selling my aquarium fish
I see you're having trouble posting pics from your album. To get them to show up properly, just copy and paste the img code for each one. It should look something like this.
Re: Considering selling my aquarium fish
Thanks for the help David, still can't get the hang of this computer stuff. Been trying to get the pics to show but just getting a load of writing instead, sorry everyone.
Re: Considering selling my aquarium fish
You just need to paste the image link between the img tags, no need to use the insert image button. When you use insert image, it adds extra tags which won't work. Just paste the link and it should be fine.
Re: Considering selling my aquarium fish
Where are you based, and where did you get all these fish from - they look like they've been well cared for. Shame you're selling, your tank looks lovely, big and spacious, perfect for a thriving community like this.
