Can multiple betta fish coexist safely in one space
Re: Can multiple betta fish coexist safely in one space
Introducing new girls to the sorority can be a bit tricky, I do it by floating the new one in a clear breeding box for a few days, just to let them get used to each other's presence before letting her join the rest.

I acquired the fish from the same breeder twice and a pet store once, they were all sisters from the same spawn that had been together since hatching from the breeder, as for the pet store ones, I'm not sure, but I switched to a breeder due to issues with disease, not aggression.

You're certain they were all female, right? Sometimes, though, a fish just isn't cut out for a sorority setup, no matter what you do.

No doubt about their sex, they're unmistakably female.
