Had a few in the past, but to be honest, my experience hasn't been great. The colour seems to shift depending on the lighting - it's more of a pink/peach hue under white lights, but takes on a peachy orange tone under blue lights. Nice find, by the way.
I've had mine for around 3 weeks now. What's the average lifespan of a wall hammer, considering the high mortality rate?

This peach hammer cost me $190, way more than I thought I'd spend, but I'm still learning.

Not long, 6-12 weeks for me on average

Honestly, I'd say it's more peach than orange. Colorhexa's got some interesting descriptions - #a16575 is mostly a desaturated dark pink, #cc93ab is a slightly desaturated pink, and #f3b4c7 is a very soft pink.

I'm still learning about these wall hammers. I was wondering, do you guys think they have such high mortality rates because they're a pain to ship, or is there something else going on?

Honestly, I've just seen it firsthand and heard from distributors and store owners. Most don't make it in our tanks, should be left in the ocean if you ask me.

Had a wall hammer, looked orange, had it about a year. First 9 months were great, last 3 not so much. I'm done with walls, sticking to branching hammers from now on.

I'm still figuring out hammers, just got this large one recently - what's your take on its color? Not talking about the green ones in the pic, btw.
