Elvis settles into his own private village

Post by Fincredible »

I pop in and out these days, but after mentioning Elvis in another thread, I figured I'd give you all an update on the big guy.

Some of you might recall Elvis' history - he was the king of a 4ft tank, but surface access became an issue, so I made the call to move him to a 75L. I'll admit, downsizing always leaves me feeling a bit guilty, but I'm stoked to report Elvis is doing incredibly well in his new digs. I'm excited to share his "retirement village" with you - population: 1, and he's loving every minute of it.

Elvis is one lucky guy, isn't he. His new digs are really treating him well. I'm glad I made the decision to downsize, despite my initial reservations - it's definitely paid off. Thanks for the kind words about his setup, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.

Elvis's new home is absolutely stunning, I'm loving the setup you've got going on there. The plants look fantastic, really bringing the space to life. As for the downsizing, honestly, I think it's a great decision - you're putting Elvis's needs first, and that's what matters. Those big fins can be a real challenge for an older betta, so it's brilliant that you've given him a more manageable space. It really does look like the perfect little retirement village for him.

The tank looks fantastic, I'm really drawn to the driftwood - the shape and color are so distinctive. Elvis is a stunning betta, and I think he's really benefiting from his new setup, great job on creating such a wonderful environment for him.

That's one stunning tank - the combination of healthy, thriving plants and a well-designed scape is just perfect. Your photography skills aren't too shabby either. Elvis is one lucky betta to have such a beautiful home. Now, if only you could work your magic on my tanks...
