are there people in north yorkshire with fry?
are there people in north yorkshire with fry?
I'm really struggling to find decent fish in my local area, to be honest. Most of the ones I've got are from online orders. I'm on the lookout for someone with some fry to sell or trade, as I'm not a fan of getting fish posted in this weather, it's just not ideal.

North Yorkshire's a big place, whereabouts are you thinking of, I'm the one looking for fish fry to buy or swap, not the other way round, just trying to avoid mail order with this weather.

I'm in Northallerton, which isn't too far from your location, lighton7.

I think you should check out Ferrybridge Aquatics, it's about an hour from you. They were ranked second in PFK's store of the year, which is no small feat. I know the shop itself isn't flashy, but they have some amazing fish, really healthy and unusual ones too. I've never seen another local fish store with freshwater rays, for example. Their website's stock list is a bit outdated, but they had 25 different Malawi cichlids last time I checked. If you're after something specific, I'd recommend giving them a call as their stock changes often.

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check them out. I've had to rely on mail order for most of my fish, which isn't ideal as I prefer to see them before buying, but unfortunately the local options are pretty limited.

Just got back from Ferrybridge Aquatics, great shop with a good variety of fish. They've got some really unusual ones, like the freshwater rays, which are absolutely fantastic.
