I've been feeding my Royal Gramma a mix of two frozen foods, one being emeflaked entree, and the other I'm still trying to recall the name of - it's been working out great so far. Both of these mixes contain a blend of algae, brine shrimp, and other nutrients that seem to be doing the trick.
My Gramma is usually out and about, getting along with most of the other fish in the tank, including the ocellaris, starry blenny, and pajama cardinal. However, there's a bit of tension between him and the 6line wrasse - they tend to keep their distance from each other, but every now and then they have a bit of a scuffle. It's pretty entertaining to watch, as the Gramma will flare out its mouth and the wrasse will quickly retreat.
One thing I've noticed about my Gramma is that it sleeps in a pretty unusual way - at night, it'll settle in sideways, and I've lost count of how many times I thought it was dead, only to have it look up at me when I turn on the room light. I've got some pictures of this somewhere, I'll have to dig them up and post them sometime.
