Tannins are legit. My betta's colors popped after I started using them. Plus, they're kinda like a natural stress coat.

If all else fails, try a salt bath. Just a pinch of aquarium salt in the tank can help with stress. But don't overdo it, bettas are freshwater fish.

I'd avoid salt unless it's really necessary. Focus on the basics first, like water quality and environment. Salt can be harsh if not needed.

My betta was a mess until I got rid of the plastic plants. Switched to silk and live ones, no more torn fins or stress. Those plastic ones are sketchy.

Sounds like you're doing most things right. Maybe just give it time. Sometimes they just need to adjust. If it persists, consider a bigger tank. More space can reduce stress.

Thanks for all the advice, everyone. Gonna try the tannins and maybe move the tank to a quieter spot. Appreciate the help!
