Is this a tropheus?

Post by hutmog »

Can anyone help me out with this Tropheus ID?

I've been trying to figure it out, but I'm getting a bunch of different names.
Would really appreciate any help I can get.

Tropheus Red Moliro Firecracker sounds about right to me.

Thanks for the reply, I've actually seen that name pop up a few times during my research. Is the pic clear enough to get a good look at him, or would more be needed for a proper ID?

Honestly, the pic is good enough, I'm just not super familiar with Tropheus, so I'm not gonna be much help with a precise ID.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I'm still new to keeping Tropheus, but so far so good with the two I have - this one's doing especially well, hence the nickname 'Big Red'.
