lion fish caused chaos

well i always put my hand near the tank and he's fine this morning i turned the lights on and put my hand near the tank and my larger lion fish went nuts and headbutted the live rock like he was trying to get away he seems fine now and is swimming around but i'm worried will he be ok my stats are all good and i've tested everything but what could've caused this

Sounds like you might've startled your lion fish, just keep an eye on him and as long as he's eating and swimming about like normal, he'll probably be alright, just gotta make sure he's being his usual self, even if they're not the most active fish.
