keeping malawi with kribs?

Post by steadsly »

hi all, i've got a pretty well-stocked malawi mbuna tank and a mate's looking to rehome two pairs of adult kribs - thinking of taking them in, but wanted to check if they'd be a good fit. bio load on the filters shouldn't be an issue and there's heaps of hiding spots with 30kg of ocean rock in there. what are people's thoughts on this?

I had a pair of Kribs in my old tank and they got along fine with my Mbunas. Key is having plenty of hiding spots, especially ones that are big enough for the Kribs to squeeze into but not the other fish. That way, they can get some space if they need to.
