Honestly, I picked up my Tunze nano DOC without any issues or backorders. Same with other Tunze products, don't see them on backorder either. No idea about the second-hand scene though.

Yeah I've been searching too and couldn't find any second-hand Tunzes, same with Deltecs. But Aquac Remora is everywhere second-hand. I'm curious, has anyone used one of these before? Would love to hear about your experience with it.

fleeton is the man when it comes to aquac remoras, he's the one to hit up for info on 'em...finleyz wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:21 am Hi,
I'm looking for a skimmer that won't break the bank - euro reef is out of my budget. What brands are you guys using, and what's your experience been like? I'm considering the coflakeife super skimmer, but I've heard mixed things - apparently only the top model (the one for 200 gallons) is worth it. Have any of you used this brand, or something else you'd recommend?

I wouldn't write off the Coflakeife superskimmers entirely. I've had the 65G model and after some initial tweaking, it's performed really well. It did take around a week to really kick in, but I imagine most skimmers would need a bit of a break-in period.
