Ads in Seriously Fish profiles
Anyone else noticed the ads popping up in Seriously Fish profiles lately? Kinda gives me a weird vibe, like they're pushing products more than info. My Betta tank's been fine, but I don't wanna mess with sketchy recommendations.

I've seen them too. It's not just you. The ads seem to be for random fish food brands, some I've never heard of. My 20-gallon community tank's been stable, but I'd rather stick to my usual TetraMin flakes.

The ads are likely part of their monetization strategy. Seriously Fish has always been a reliable source for species profiles, but the ads do feel intrusive. My planted 40-gallon with Angelfish hasn't been affected, but I get why it's annoying.

Yeah, the ads are everywhere now. My shrimp tank's doing great, but I've started ignoring the ads. They're not even relevant half the time, like why am I seeing ads for cat food?

Totally feel you. My 55-gallon discus setup's been chill, but I'm not trusting random ads for fish meds. Stick to what works, yeah?

Thanks for the input, everyone. Glad it's not just me overthinking it. Gonna stick to my usual routine and ignore the noise.

That's the way to go. My Corydoras are thriving on their usual diet, no need to experiment with ads. Consistency's key in this hobby.

Exactly. My Rams are the same. Stable water params and a trusted food brand beat any flashy ad.north_rose wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 7:07 pm That's the way to go. My Corydoras are thriving on their usual diet, no need to experiment with ads. Consistency's key in this hobby.

My Neon Tetras haven't complained about the ads, but I'm not risking it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

Pretty much. My Oscar's been happy with his Hikari pellets for years. No ad's gonna convince me to switch it up now.
