Yep, more flow can help. Just don't blast the Anubias too hard. They like calm water.

What's the best way to acclimate nerite snails? I don't want to shock them.

Drip acclimation works best. It's slow but safe. Just float the bag for temp, then drip tank water into it over an hour or so.

I've also had success with Amano shrimp. They're not as picky about water params as nerites and they're great at cleaning.

I've got Amanos with my tetras, and they're fine. Just give them plenty of hiding spots.

Another hack: use a toothbrush to gently scrub the leaves. It's weirdly effective and won't hurt the plant if you're careful.

I'll try the toothbrush trick. Sounds easy enough.

Just make sure it's a soft-bristle brush. Hard ones can scratch the leaves.

If all else fails, spot treat with Excel. It's safe for plants but kills algae on contact. Just don't overdo it.
