Forgotten eBay aquarium shop

Post by brooklyn »

Has anyone ordered from an eBay aquarium shop called 'AquaDreams'? I found a listing for a rare Bucephalandra, but the shop has zero feedback and the pics look sketchy. Wondering if it's worth the risk.

Yo, I've seen that shop. Zero feedback is a major red flag, bro. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Maybe try a trusted seller like BucePlant instead.

I'd steer clear. Even if the Bucephalandra is legit, shipping could be a nightmare. Had a similar experience with a no-name shop last year, and the plants arrived half-dead.

Agree with the others. Zero feedback means no track record. If you're desperate, message the seller for more pics or proof of stock. Otherwise, not worth the gamble.

I dunno, sometimes these small shops surprise you. But yeah, the risk is high. Maybe set a budget limit so you don't lose too much if it goes south.

I'd pass. Rare plants from untrusted sources often come with pests or diseases. Not worth contaminating your tank.

If you're set on trying, ask for a live video of the plant. That's what I do with new sellers. If they can't provide one, it's a no-go.

Haha, I love a good eBay gamble, but not with my tank! Last time I took a chance, I got snails. So many snails. Stick to the pros, my friend.

Yeah, eBay can be hit or miss. Maybe check if they have a website or social media presence. If it's just a random listing, hard pass.

BucePlant is solid, but their stock is always out. Still, better than getting scammed.
