Adding harlequins to community tank?

Post by joven »

I've got a 30 gallon community tank with neon tetras, corydoras, and a betta. Thinking of adding harlequin rasboras but worried about aggression. Anyone have experience mixing them?

Harlequins are pretty chill, dude. I've kept them with bettas before and it's usually fine as long as the betta isn't super aggressive. What's your tank setup like?

Harlequins are peaceful and should work well in your setup. Just make sure the betta isn't territorial. How's your water flow? They prefer moderate flow.

I've got harlequins in my 40 gallon with similar tankmates. No issues so far. They're schooling fish, so get at least six. What's your filtration like?

Harlequins are a solid choice for community tanks. They're hardy and adapt well. Just keep an eye on the betta's behavior for the first few days.

Harlequins are great, but they do best in groups. I'd recommend adding eight to ten if your tank can handle it. What's your current stocking level?

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll start with six and see how it goes. My betta's pretty laid-back, so hopefully it'll work out.

Yo, harlequins are legit the best middle-ground fish. They're not too flashy but still got that cool vibe. Just don't skimp on the school size, or they'll look lonely.

Harlequins are dope, man. I've got 'em with my betta and they're totally cool. Just make sure your tank's not too crowded, ya know?

What's a harlequin? Never heard of 'em. Are they like guppies or something?
